Compassion
/Where does your mind go when you hear the word, "compassion"? Do you instantly have a person, group of people, an activity or event that took place come to the forefront of your mind?
From a definition standpoint, compassion is linked to someone who shows kindness, caring, and a willingness to help others. The word is an emotion that is 'categorized' as a positive one that displays a person being thoughtful and helpful.
This week's email Bible verse tells us that our God, the Father of Jesus Christ, is the ultimate Father of compassion and comfort! He gives to each of us His great compassion and comfort when we call out for His help. Indeed, it is His gift of compassion that helps and heals us, so that in turn, we can give compassion to someone else in need.
When did you last share compassion to someone? When was the last time you received compassion? Let's ignite a compassion campaign! Giving and receiving love, help and hope are healthy ingredients for compassion! Join us as we continue our compassion campaign in our community!
