Are you flourishing?

"May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 115:14-15 NIV

The verses in Psalm 115 are so uplifting and encouraging. Yes, Lord, we do ask you to help us to flourish, along with our children. We want, we need your blessings Lord.

"Flourishing" is found in Philippian's 4:10, and can be translated as 'renewed' or 'revived' - returning to a former state of being.

"I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it." Philippians 4:10 NIV

"But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me hath flourished again; though ye always cared, ye lacked opportunity." KJ21 (The 21st Century King James Version is an updated version of the KJ Version published in 1994.)

God can help us to flourish again, We can be renewed through him. Stop clawing your way out. With your back against the wall, release the struggles to God. He can take our current life situations and help us to heal, take action, be forgiven....whatever it takes to rise above our ashes.

Lord, help us through our struggles... battles....the fight. Allow us to heal, be renewed, flourish once again under your unconditional love.
