JOY - A Fruit of the Holy Spirit
/This week we look at this uplifting and very much needed fruit of the Spirit!
You know what joy feels like! Remember? Your heart is full of zest! You feel lighter, the weight of issues, stress, life has been lifted off of you! The Holy Spirit living inside of you has blessed you with this unspeakable joy!
The enemy would love to steal your joy each day. He wants to keep you weighted down with his artillery of doubt, fear, despair, deceit and lie after lie. But Jesus has already defeated Satan! And with God our Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, our joy can be restored each day!
Here are several definitions of what real joy is all about:
Great delight; gladness of heart
The happy state that results from knowing and serving God
That deep, abiding, inner rejoicing in the Lord
To rejoice, to be glad
Happy, joyful, cheerful, rejoicing, festive

When you feel the stirring of the Holy Spirit cleansing your heart and mind of all the churning of daily life troubles, issues and emotions...STOP! Exhale and deeply breathe in JOY! He is blessing you with this glorious and inexpressible fruit!
